Have you ever thought of the common line, 'I would die for you'? I believe and I stand corrected most people who actually say this, don't mean it. Caught up in the spur of the moment maybe, one would be prompted to say this just to prove how much affection they have towards the other party. Today I want to talk about a man who did actually die for someone, not one person, but the entire world. Yes, you are thinking right, this man is Jesus. You see, the world was so rooted in sin that out of the love God had and still has for the world He sent His only Son to die on the cross for our sins that we may be atoned for, that we may not be condemned (Romans 8:1) that we may be saved (John 3:17) . My focus today being on how it was important that Jesus, being God Himself (Philippians 2:6) become man so that we could have the privilege of being re-united back to God.
