He became Man, He Suffered, He Trusted
Have you ever thought of the common line, 'I would die for you'? I believe and I stand corrected most people who actually say this, don't mean it. Caught up in the spur of the moment maybe, one would be prompted to say this just to prove how much affection they have towards the other party.
Today I want to talk about a man who did actually die for someone, not one person, but the entire world. Yes, you are thinking right, this man is Jesus. You see, the world was so rooted in sin that out of the love God had and still has for the world He sent His only Son to die on the cross for our sins that we may be atoned for, that we may not be condemned (Romans 8:1) that we may be saved (John 3:17) . My focus today being on how it was important that Jesus, being God Himself (Philippians 2:6) become man so that we could have the privilege of being re-united back to God.
You see, Jesus Christ as described in Hebrews 1 is the radiance of God's Glory and the exact representation of God's being, He is set above by God, He is sitted at the right hand of God. I know what you are thinking, oh how amazing it is for Jesus, to be that close to God. Well I want us to remember that before Jesus could experience the all this, He suffered. Yes, Jesus suffered while he was still here on earth. How did He suffer? He suffered death, why? so that by the Grace of God he might taste death for everyone. There you have it people Jesus tasted or rather experienced death for you. Yes you, you who calls him/herself inferior, you who thinks you are in too deep to be restored, you who thinks you have made it in this world just because you have a couple of zeros in your account, you who serves the Lord faithfully, YOU READING THIS.
Now God had to take Jesus through being a man of flesh and blood to prepare Him. Yes, the moulding we all have to go through before the Glory. In Hebrews 2:17, we are explained to and I quote "...he had to be made like His brothers in every way in order that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people."This piece of scripture is powerful because it is a confirmation to every Believer thinking that the walk of Salvation is too tiresome, is too heavy on them, a confirmation that the glory is coming.
Jesus knew He is God's son but yet He obeyed, He accepted the moulding and see where it got Him, sitted at the right hand of God, the Father.
I could go on and on but I want to dwell on the part where there is Glory after the moulding. Continue Trusting, Continue Believing, Continue hoping. We might not all sit at the Right Hand of God, But the Lord has promised great plans over our lives. Jesus accepted His suffering and trusted God in it, TRUST GOD THROUGH YOUR SUFFERING, GLORY IS COMING.
GOD BLESS YOU | GOD LOVES YOU | KEEP TRUSTING
