Dare to be
I have come a long way from the person I used to be. I loved pleasing people and I always wanted to be in people's good books. What I realize now is that, I was deceiving myself, the people I was pleasing and most importantly, I was not allowing God to define me. I don't want to be the kind of person who lives through life. I want to enjoy every bit of it while working the purpose that God gave me. I would like to travel the world and see all of God's wonderful creation. I would like to enjoy the simplicity of life while impacting others for generations to come. It has and still is a journey of opening up to the person I really am. In the midst of this, I thank Jesus Christ for sticking by me all this time. I have chosen to live fully in the person God created me to be and I know that eventually everything else will align.
