Guest post by: Rosemary Muniu Battle-weary soldiers is a familiar description of God’s children as they press on towards the goal. Life can feel overwhelming, with never-ending lists of things to do, places to go and things to see. Every day we are at war killing sin. Every day we are called to die unto ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Christ. Every day we are called to love God with our whole hearts, soul, strength, and minds. And every day, love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We crave for physical rest, we crave for emotional rest, we crave for rest in our souls.  In Christ, we find the rest that our souls, so long for. God has provided for us the means of grace through his Word, prayer, and fellowship where we can rest,  as we commune with him. And God promises to fulfill the desire for rest that is within our souls. My last two posts have been focusing on a testimony concerning our dad's medical bill provision. Click here for part 1 and here for part 2. The last time I shared about the "Breakthrough meeting" where we saw God's abundant provision that surpassed our imagination (See Ephesians 3:20). As planned, my auntie, and the lawyer went to the hospital on April 2nd, to make the pending payment and develop a collateral agreement with the hospital since even after the payment, we'd still have a pending bill of around Ksh.300,000. What we didn't know however, is that God had planned for my dad to be discharged that day and guess what, we discovered that the hospital had not included a Ksh. 20,000 payment that had initially been sent to the hospital directly, without our knowledge.
