A POST ABOUT TIME

God's TIME, A stitch in TIME saves nine, TIME is of the essence, TIME waits for no man,It is TIME, TIME is money...All these are common phrases that we use almost daily in our lives. When we attend motivational talks, I am pretty sure the speaker doesn't end the talk without the mention of TIME, talking about how success takes TIME to achieve, how you ought to manage your TIME. Well, I am sure you have attended one of this and already know what I am talking about. 
Today, I want to speak about TIME in a Biblical perspective. On this day, I took a few shots of the watch on my wrist(a gift) and at first they were meant to just be great shots of my watch (well we all take those sometimes). Little did I know that taking those shots opened up a whole new concept, a whole new dimension of thought. God actually opened up my brain, my eyes and I started seeing things differently.




Now I know we all have heard preachers talk about God's TIMING and by now to most of you this might just be the umpteenth time you are hearing/reading this statement. These preacher's are used by God to help us understand that TIME plays a key role in practicing patience, faith, love, relationships,,,What I am saying is that TIME is inevitable, TIME is everywhere.


Let us go to the Book of Genesis, Now we know that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it (Psalms 24:1) within a certain period of TIME, 6 days to be precise(Don't forget however that 2nd Peter 3:8, says ::that, " But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With The Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day). God so skillfully created everything, each in its own TIME. You see TIME allowed God to create everything so well and the Bible tells us 'And God saw it was good.' This tells us that God knew that the TIME He took to create would be enough to come up with something good.

Downcast but not destroyed: Part 2

As soon as I got the Paybill number, we created a Poster to help raise the hospital bill. I believe God's angels were very busy during this time since different people  gave, even people who are not familiar with our family. My sister and I constantly shared the poster on our WhatsApp status and friends would send any amount which we highly appreciated. Our extended family also helped fundraise and by God's Grace, we were about to realize the amount. The hospital needed us to raise 263,000 in a week, to offset the bill. God's favour was upon us because during this week, the hospital said they would freeze dad's account and only charge him for meds (God had done a great thing) Back at home people continued to give and by the following week, on Wednesday 1st April, we had raised around 127,000. What however stands out for me is how the coach (Alex Kendrick) encourages his team who lost by 3 points only.
