It's a new dawn

Praise God!

 I bless the Lord God Almighty for through Him and by Him I have life, divine joy, divine peace, divine love, divine wisdom and divine favour. When I started out this year I knew and I still know that God was about to roll out a great manifestation of His plan over my life. A great manifestation that no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no mind has conceived, yes, it is that amazing!

 Now someone might be reading this and wondering, mmmh what makes her so sure about this? It is simple brethren, I know this through Faith (Hebrews11). Yes without Faith, it is impossible to please God! You see when God releases His Divine plans over your life, it is important for you to claim them, believe and declare they are yours because there is an enemy scheming evil plans to make sure that you don't tap into these great promises. We know that the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy and for this people you need to be alert! How do I remain alert, you ask? Good question. 

 It is my reading and MEDITATING on God's Word. The Bible says that nothing has come to you except that which is common. So if you want to know how to remain alert and thwart every plan of the enemy you must medidate on the Word of God. You see when you meditate on the Word of God you gain wisdom, knowledge, you are equipped for battle. No, don't think spears, guns, etc. It is a different kind of battle. It is a Spiritual warfare. 

 We know from the Bible that the battle isn't against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of the dark world. It is therefore a necessity for you to put on the full armour of God, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shield of FAITH,the helmet of salvation, the Sword which is the WORD of God. It is only God who can help you beat the enemy, just in case you were trying to do it on your own.

 So has the Lord given you a great revelation over your life this year? What are you doing about it?
Are you sitted there hoping it will just come. You have a part to play. The preaching at Parklands Baptist Church by Pastor Simon challenged us to SEIZE THE MOMENT! Yes, if it is your moment, therefore take it! receive it! declare it! work towards it!  My friends when you perceive a vision, you conceive it and then you action it. You need to walk with God for Him to lead you on the path to take. He made the plan so He knows the way! Seek First His Kingdom. Meditate on His Word! Obey Him! Remain faithful! YOU ARE EQUIPPED FULLY IN EVERY WAY FOR EVERY GOOD WORK!

Downcast but not destroyed: Part 2

As soon as I got the Paybill number, we created a Poster to help raise the hospital bill. I believe God's angels were very busy during this time since different people  gave, even people who are not familiar with our family. My sister and I constantly shared the poster on our WhatsApp status and friends would send any amount which we highly appreciated. Our extended family also helped fundraise and by God's Grace, we were about to realize the amount. The hospital needed us to raise 263,000 in a week, to offset the bill. God's favour was upon us because during this week, the hospital said they would freeze dad's account and only charge him for meds (God had done a great thing) Back at home people continued to give and by the following week, on Wednesday 1st April, we had raised around 127,000.
